Hi, I’m Stephanie — a New York City-based Product Designer passionate about creating functional, human-centered experiences that bring joy to users. Before transitioning into design, I worked in the nonprofit space, driven by a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. That same passion led me to product design — a space where empathy, creativity, and problem-solving intersect.

The Cultures That Shaped Me

Born in Malaysia and raised between Southeast Asia and New York City, I’ve always felt at home in multicultural spaces. I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and conversational in Korean and Bahasa Melayu — a linguistic toolkit that’s helped me build strong connections with people across cultures and teams.

Travel-Lover & Curious Explorer

Wanderlust is in my DNA. Whether it’s uncovering a hidden alley café in Tokyo or getting lost in the streets of Lisbon, I’m constantly inspired by how people live, design, and connect around the world. Let’s swap travel stories — or ask me for my favorite under-the-radar coffee shops in NYC.

Teaching Is a Core Part of Me

For the past 5 years, I’ve taught design to students on the autism spectrum — an experience that grounds me in patience, joy, and the belief that creativity belongs to everyone. Watching my students bring their ideas to life using tools like Figma, Canva, and Womp is one of the most fulfilling parts of my week.
